Owning a reactive rescue German Shepherd comes with its challenges, and one of those challenges emerged during a routine walk. Two off-leash Labradors came charging towards my on-leash dog, circling him and causing understandable nervousness. My dog started barking and jumping in response. Fortunately, the Labradors didn't get close enough to escalate the situation.
One thing that I do know is that if anything had gone awry, the footage would have served as evidence that it was the other dog owners' negligence that triggered the reaction. Having that visual record provided peace of mind, knowing that justice could be served if needed.
This experience reinforced the importance of being vigilant during walks, especially for reactive dogs. Our dog camera isn't just a piece of tech—it's a guardian that captures moments, ensuring the safety and well-being of our dogs.
